3-second rule info?

Seen a post off this guy on another forum.
he mentions that the 3-second rule may even be a little long and that adhereing to the rule is crucial step in not being blown out. unfortunately he does not press further into it.

I want to know why it is that crucial.

It was my understanding that it was just for beginners to give you a push to approach, get over AA and once you got no AA you no longer need it? Perhaps i am wrong and there is a more significant purpose for the 3-second rule?

The only reason i can think of is if you keep looking at her for more than 3 seconds you may seem creepy? I imagine that is the reason why it can affect you, is there anything else to it?

It got me thinking...ive posted a lot actually within a short space of time so i must calm down haha, i justn had a flood of questions since browsing for material..

btw check out the opener he uses for the 2 girls. says they both look cute, its a good direct opener but also not so direct as its passable as just being friendly..i like it and will try it tonight.

the three second rule is a technique to help get past approach anxiety. there's no magic number of two seconds, three seconds, four seconds, etc. the point is that most of us when suffering from AA, see a girl we would like to approach, and we don't right away. and we start thinking about it. and then two things happen. we get nervous and start overthinking the interaction. and also, people pick up on you hovering around a set while you are "thinking" and you become that creepy guy.

it's not that the rule is no longer needed when you get better. it just becomes part of your nature and you don't think about it anymore. when i enter a place i want to approach, i don't like around and see someone and count in my head one two three as i go to them. i would do that when i first started. but i know that when i see someone i want to talk to, i do it immediately.

Bullshit KoA....2.5 seconds is the optimal amount of time. Any quicker and it conveys too much interest, any longer and you subconsciously creep them out.

The three second rule is just a guideline. I've been a PUA for six years or so and I find that if it takes longer then a sec or so for your brain to make a decision that you would like that gorgeous woman's legs suffocating you, then you should probably approach the girl.

Beginners worry about three seconds and when that will change, it never changes. If your attracted to a woman and your not attached, you approach........Period.............
